Congratulations to Nantwich Bookshop – New Community Bus Launched

What a brilliant way to mark Cheshire Day!

My very first assignment as the new High Sheriff of Cheshire was to launch a new community bus for Nantwich Bookshop.

Owners Denise and Steve Lawson are working with Cheshire East Council to take books and community events on the road to local villages in South Cheshire.

I was honoured to be invited to cut a red ribbon in a special ceremony with Nantwich Mayor Cllr Mary Slinn and Nantwich Town Crier Devlin Hobson, supported by Sarah Callander Beckett from Combermere Abbey.
