Easter Boat Gathering heralds an amazing Golden Anniversary Year for the Waterways Museum in Ellesmere Port
It was a fantastic opening day for the Easter Historic Boat Gathering at the Waterways Museum. What a privilege to join present and former colleagues from the Canal & River Trust at their wonderful, annual celebration of historic boats. It was great to meet the Ellesmere Port Mayor, Cllr Katie Kendrick, and the Trust’s new CEO Campbell Robb. The fabulous boating festival will be followed by a great 2026 season of events to mark the museum’s 50th anniversary.
