Dr Anne Davidson Lund

Dr Anne Davidson Lund is a lay minister in the Church of England, licensed by the Bishop of Chester since 2013 and currently serving in the rural parishes of Norley, Crowton, Kingsley, Alvanley and Manley.

Originally from Lancashire, Anne has lived in Cheshire for a quarter of a century, in a quiet hamlet that was handy for transport links when her work involved a lot of travel.

With a background as a linguist and a research interest in intercultural working, Anne’s career spanned education and business and culminated in a role advising governments, universities and heads of business organisations around the UK and Europe on language policy. She is fluent in German and French and has learned twelve other languages: ‘Japanese is relatively easy, less so Hungarian!’

Anne is an experienced amateur chamber choir singer and orchestral musician and a happy if incompetent gardener. She shares her home with her equally musical husband, their two double basses, her piano, too many books and usually at least one rescued Great Dane.
